PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Europe 2020 talks about the needs of implementing programs to promote social innovation for the most vulnerable, primarily by creating innovative educational, training and employment opportunities for marginalized groups in society. If a society wants to strive for the inclusion of each individual, and the local community for each member of its community, then the resocialization of socially isolated groups is one of the fundamental tasks of the same society, the same community. The Strategy for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion in Croatia 2014-2020 explained how Croatia aims to address these issues and how it will fight poverty, exclusion and homelessness. The strategy recognizes that Croatia lags significantly behind other European countries in areas such as employment, higher education and the fight against poverty. The human resources strategies of the Primorje and Gorski Kotar and Karlovac counties speak of ways to reduce unemployment. They state the importance of projects aimed at reintegration into the labor market through lifelong learning and workshops, as well as providing adequate education that can return the long-term unemployed to the labor market. Through its strategy, the state aims to prevent, mitigate and eliminate social vulnerability.

 

OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTED RESULTS

In accordance with the existing problems and guidelines of the documents, a project was designed to increase employment opportunities, reduce the risk of social exclusion and poverty of marginalized groups and strengthen the skills of unemployed people through verified training programs for fruit, vegetable, beekeepers and producers. plants. The duration of each individual training program is 30 days, with 10 beneficiaries involved in this segment of the project. Furthermore, this project aims to strengthen the soft and transversal skills of unemployed people from marginalized groups by developing and implementing programs to develop and improve soft and transversal skills while strengthening the capacity of professionals working with the unemployed to improve services related to labor market access and social inclusion.

 

PARTICIPANTS

The implementation of the project involves 30 unemployed, including the long-term unemployed persons. Also, 10 beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum fee are included, who will be able to participate in the training program under mentorship, and will participate in the soft and transversal skills development program. The project will also include three experts who will participate in training for the implementation of soft and transversal skills development programs, and in the implementation of soft and transversal skills development programs.

 

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

After the completion of the project, 6 beneficiaries were trained to independently perform the activities of fruit growers, vegetable growers, beekeepers and producers of aromatic plants. By involving users in these programs, it was possible to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to perform these activities. The focus on learning has enabled users to develop a wide range of professional, professional and personal skills. This leads to more opportunities in the labor market, improved independent living capacity and better strategies for dealing with challenging life events. By acquiring such skills, project participants will independently perform tasks from certain agricultural activities, thus increasing the possibility of employment or self-employment as well as reducing the risk of social exclusion and poverty.

 

SOFT AND TRANSVERSAL SKILLS

During the introductory phase of the project improving soft and transversal skills. The developed program will enable continuous implementation of this form of program after the project by employees of the association, in accordance with the needs of users.

 

CAPACITIES OF EXPERTS

In the introductory phase of the project by holding two trainings on unemployment and social exclusion and social entrepreneurship. use the acquired knowledge after the completion of the project in working with these groups of society.
