Depaul Croatia employees Petra and Damir, as members of the outreach work team, spent five days with Depaul Slovakia employees in Bratislava. It was a return visit, after the exchange held in April this year. During their five-day stay, they got to know six excellent projects and continued to exchange professional experiences with our colleagues and friends. What was particularly important to us was our joint reflection on Vincentian identity and Vincentian values that shape our personality and our mission. It is precious to feel belonging to the big Depaul family – Depaul International – and to look together in the same direction: towards a person in need, the homeless to whom we are sent. And that means mutual care for each other and working together in care for others: this is the knowledge that has connected us more deeply towards further collaboration and growth in communion.
