Association for the Protection of Nature and the Environment “Plant a tree, don’t be a stump!” and this year she organized the third national tree planting campaign in Croatia, which started on November 1st 2021. Depaul Croatia also responded to this incentive. The campaign “Plant a tree, don’t be a stump” was attended by users of our services – members of marginalized groups; long-term unemployed persons and beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum benefit, participants in the project “H – garden” funded by the European Social Fund. The participants of our project – users of the “Haven House” services, gladly responded to the call of the campaign “Plant a tree, don’t be a stump” with the desire to become more active in overcoming what was a challenge for many – planting trees. Of course, with the effort to make one urban space even greener – and thus make it more beautiful. Thus, on December 7, 2021, under the supervision of Hrvoje Krivošić, and volunteers and an expert associate planted two olive trees, symbols of peace; one seedling of Coratino and Leccino varieties.
