One of the important activities carried out as part of the project “You are not alone with us”, financed by the European Social Fund, is horticulture therapy in the nearby Garden of the Homeless. This garden, run by Depaul Hrvatska, has been operating for a number of years and is aimed at growing seedlings of various species. The users of the project are involved in sowing, transplanting, watering, and other tasks that are carried out on the surface of the Be-garden. The therapeutic potential of gardens and gardening has proven to be extremely beneficial for the elderly as well, strengthening mental health and socialization.
