On January 13, 2023, tDepaul Croatia signed with the Ministry of Agriculture the Agreement on the allocation of grants for the “Haven House” project. The project worth EUR 15,355.59 was financed with the funds of the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism through activities within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021-2026 to finance the component Improving the use of natural resources and strengthening the food supply chain. The association regularly cares for around 250 clients per year, and is focused on caring for the homeless and people at risk of homelessness. Most of the clients are from the area of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, but with a certain percentage of people from other parts of Croatia. Food services include three meals a day, distribution of ready meals and food items. The project provided part of the funds for the purchase of vehicles for transporting donated food.
