“Collaboration in the Vicentian perspective – a heart that receives God and man”, was the theme of the weekend spent from May 20 to 22 on the island of Košljun, in the Franciscan monastery. Depaul Croatia employees and volunteers participated, and the topics of reflection were finding new, more organised, holistic and better ways to help the poorest – in the Vincentian way. It was also our spiritual renewal, because to act with quality “outwards” requires a strengthened personal “inside”. We were guided in different ways by our leaders: Sr. M. Blanka Vrdoljak, Fr. Dario Grbac, Petra Štokić. We were empowered by communion with both God and man. Our weekend continued what we started five years ago in Rijeka, when Depaul Croatia was founded: to create a community of those who are God’s, Vincent’s, friends of the homeless.
