“Depaul Croatia and friends – for Depaul Ukraine”, is the name of the campaign we started on February 28, seeing the urgent need for efficient deeds of love, and closeness of brotherly and sisterly support. We did it in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul: organised and in collaboration. With concrete goals and in communication with those to whom our help goes – Fr. Vitaliy Novak from Depaul Ukraine. We are proud and grateful to all of you, our friends, for collecting items worth HRK 54.000 from February 28 to March 17. This donation was made possible by Depaul Croatia, Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Province of the Mother of Good Counsel – Rijeka, Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary – Jordanovac, Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the Republic of Croatia, its Conferences in Istria and Rijeka, Daughters of Charity – Volosko, Kindergarten “Star of Peace”, Community Prayer and Word, Pasta “Klara Marić”, Home for the Elderly Kantrida, Lions Club Korzo / Rijeka and other dear friends from Rijeka, Istria and other parts of Croatia. Volunteers and employees of Depaul Croatia have been and are effective in organization and packaging. Transports will go to Bratislava and further to Ukraine, and we will continue our campaign.
