On 28 February 2022, as part of the implementation of the activities of the H – garden project, a one-day training of experts – employees and volunteers of Depaul Croatia was held on “Strengthening the capacity of experts to provide psychosocial support to the long-term unemployed, clients and other persons homelessness. ” On that occasion, the participants were introduced to the techniques of improving communication skills in helping professions with a logotherapeutic approach – a communication method that seeks to positively apply the art of speaking in conflict situations as an example of nonviolent conflict resolution through empowerment and assistance to those in need by listening and engaging. The aim of the method is to develop mutual trust as a support system in crisis situations.
